YSI Conference
YSI Conference provides young people with a project - a Srushti Idea Challenge to tackle the issues bothering the learning community at campus and a platform - YSI Conference to express their innovative IDEA’s. Through this process, young people will also explore values of change-makers. This is a yearly conference, organized & co-created by students of participating colleges.
The Vision of YSI is to : co-create a better world, together.
It aims at student flourishing on campus, as they co-create well-being for each other.
For last 3 years, we are exploring Gandhian values of Truth & well-being, attempting to understand and imbibe it. As this also coincides with the 150th birth anniversary of Ganhdiji.
YSI Project is based on the Srushti IDea Challenge. This is a fun and exciting DO & LEARN, activity. Students will be facilitated through a workshop on CO-CREATION - a Human centred design process using Design thinking & arts, where youth will learn to move from IDEA to ACTION. They will learn to empathize, dialog, imagine, collaborate, solve problems & reflect & journal.
